Dr. Phillips Center Disney Musical Club
Cypress Elementary is participating in the Dr. Phillips Center’s Disney Musicals in Schools program, a free 17‑week musical‑theater residency designed to help schools build sustainable arts programs. Through this initiative, students and teachers work alongside professional teaching artists to learn how to produce, direct, choreograph, and perform a full Disney KIDS musical, building skills in creativity, confidence, communication, and collaboration. The program also provides schools with free scripts, performance materials, and expert guidance, and even offers access to Disney’s “Costuming Vault,” where educators can select donated fabrics and materials to support their productions. This partnership has brought high‑quality arts education to elementary schools across Central Florida, giving young performers opportunities to shine on professional stages like the Walt Disney Theater at the Dr. Phillips Center.
